If you REALLY believe that, it is really, really sad. Literally sad, not to insult you. It's really depressing some people think that shit.

Japan, Germany, France, South Korea, Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe, Afghanistan, Iraq......all owe their freedom and democracy either fully or partially to the United States. Why is it so difficult for you to admit that?
And what has Germany ever done to make the world a better place?

I'm not going to pull shit outta my ass telling you that Germany's foreign policies have always been adorable, cause that is just not true. I do acknowledge when people who were in power in Germany did shit and do shit. Further, there isnt a competition between the US and Germany right now, ok?
The whole point is that what your country did to Iraq is not adorable. Pulling propaganda talk out of your ass won't change that.

i see it as innappropiate to be putting up statues of the leader of the occupying coalition, the occupation which many iraqis are against. maybe in a few years time if things turn out ok it maybe appropriate but right now something like that is reminisant of the saddam era and is only going to cause further aggression, resentment and divisions in iraq

Glad you see it inappropriate. You're in the UK right? Funny that this Iraqi doesn't see it as inappropriate.
