Okay, u say Yuk is a fake ass gangsta.

However, i thought a lot of so called gangsta rappers are really not gangsta n e more. Like..studio gangsters?

Isnt that very common?

Its just part of the genre.

If the music is good, who cares dude.

Big, u really ride Game's dick hard...u like his person P.R. manager or something?

E.g.

Binary Star - Honest Expression

"Yo, I ain't hardcore, I don't pack a nine millimeter
Most a y'all gangsta rappers ain't hardcore neither
Whoever get mad, then I'm talkin' 'bout you
Claim you fear no man, but never walk wit' out crew
Where I'm from, your reputation don't mean jack
So what, you pack gatts and you sell fiends crack
You ain't big time, my man
You ain't no different from the next cat in my neighborhood who did time"

or

Gang Starr - Next Time

"Talkin bout you bust caps, we know that's just a pile of crap"

Gang Starr

"But they can't take the respect, that I've earned in my lifetime
And you know they'll never stop the furious force of my rhymes
So like they say, every dog has it's day
And like they say, God works in a mysterious way
So I pray, remembering the days of my youth
As I prepare to meet my moment of truth"

Who cares about an artist's personal life? Judge them by the music, and neither Yuk nor Game are very good. I can tolerate either but I wouldn't buy an album by either of them.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
