Yea I’m a little disappointed in the way we got this album. Mega said himself on his website that this is the testament album the way he wanted it released, not the way it was actually put together by def jam. He said the song “Mega’s gonna hold his own” ft Carl Thomas was a testament track that def jam liked, but he never felt it went with the album so he left it off. Other songs like “take mine” and “u don’t want it” (which ended up on “the Realness” album) were also testament tracks left off. Then you have those old early defjam mega songs like “sex drugs bitches and money” and “slow Down” ft Foxy Brown which weren’t all that great, but would have rounded out the album nicely. My other beef is that the album quality is really poor! It sounds like all the songs are rough studio mix’s the A&R’s at def jam would have. None of it is professionally mixed or mastered which is a fatal flaw considering the material is so good and it takes away from the quality substantially.
