toss it up story?
« on: April 22, 2005, 10:21:53 AM »
Does anyone know the exact story behind the Toss it up beat and the no diggity one? I remember reading about some kind of controversy with it but i can't recall it now. Who stole what, if anything? What's the deal with the Toss it up original with the piano part in it just like no diggity? and has anyone seen the beach version video? the only part i've seen from it is from the shoot on death row uncut. thanks..

something else funny about 2Pac & Blackstreet is they both used the same sample in a different song. the same sample Pac used in "I Aint Mad At Cha", Blackstreet used in "Dont Leave Me".
"House shoes & coffee: I know the paper gone come"

blackstreet got the idea from pac's shyt.
i don't even think there is a sample in that, if so from what record?
by the way, one of the best beats ever,
who would have ever thought there could be a heart felt thug song..?

I ain't Mad At Cha and Don't Leave Me both contain a sample of DeBarge's "A Dream"

actually my friend told me something like Dre might of did the production for toss it up, then left and used it with blackstreet, and that is the reason why there is that other tupac verse on the released version dissing dre. It's hard to tell though because the original version I have seems incomplete but who knows how much.

Dre didnt produce no diggity so i think teddy must of took the dre track and used some of it
Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program
