Every month that goes by we find the problem was more widespread than we previously realized, yet Bush pushed all the blame downwards and the republicans followed suit. As if we should actually believe that torturous acts were occuring simultanesouly in three seperate locations at the same time and no one in a leadership position knew of it. Republicans should be ashamed of themselves for blaming the troops when these problems are so obviously the fault of a much higher authority... altho given the repubilcan party's relentless and unnecessary support of alberto gonzales I would argue that the responsbility for the degradation of the american character now clearly lies with the party as a whole.
