Been a lurker for a while and just joined today. Great site. One CD I liked back in the day was Penthouse Players Clique album - Paid the Cost - might have been the name. Anyway, production was done by DJ Quik and had some bangers. Trust No Bitch with Eazy-E may have been the most popular song. Does anyone know what happened to this group and why a second album never came out? Does anyone know if it went gold?

Penthouse Players Clique "Paid The Cost" was their first and sad to say, their last album. It went gold and it's considered a West Coast
Classic. PPC consisted of Playa Hamm, Tweed Cadillac, Dj Quik,2nd II None, and AMG. But the group album project only consisted of
Playa Hamm,Dj Quik, and Tweed Cadillac. This was before DJ Quik went solo and since then i believe the other two former members have put out solo projects over the years. Hope this helps.

yea, tweed caddilac formed agroup with dj alladin, who handeled the whole production on their only album as the mackadelicks - exposed to the game

and its a classic!
a lot of average good tracks on that album plus a few amazing bangers!

its a shame that i havent had the chance yet to listen to that PPC album

I remember Quik saying something about Playa Hamm's nephews or cousins are gonna get together and use the name again or something along those lines.

That's weak! You can never replace the original lineup. That's like talking about The Game or Snoop replacing Eazy-E if NWA was to ever get back together for a reunion album.
