2Pac lived in NY his whole life and repped Cali...
it's been a long time thats i've heard from ^^^^^..... have u been away or some
What the fuck are you talking about? He never had a real "home". He lived in New York, Marin City, Oakland, Atlanta, Los Angeles... but not "his whole life in NY". No way. Sorry homie.
I want to believe it, but I doubt Xzibit scans the internet for new Snoop-tracks, so there's a good possibility that he haven't heard it yet.
Actually i think it's X who "saved" Snoop Dogg with Bitch Please, back in 1998. So he already did something for Snoop. But i pretty agree with you all that Mr.Hard-As-Fuck X to The Z lost a lot of his "gangsta immage", thanx to Snoop.
ain't no way X saved snoop with bitch please. Snoop introduced X into a whole new fanbase with this song, thats how I became a fan of X. Snoop doesn't need anyone to sell records and get recognized. No matter how much you want to hate on him, he is one of the most popular rappers ever. X even said it himself that snoop helped him reach the spotlight by giving him a chance. He said snoop or dre never game him anything or did things for him, they just gave him a chance to work with them and he proved that he was good.
I dont hate him, i'm just saying that X helped Snoop with his probably best single after he left Death Row. Snoop was on his knees after "Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not To Be Told", not about sales (but it's a lil scandal that wack album sold so much), but about respect. He lost almost all the respect before Topp Dogg. X was in this great single, with Nate and Dre. They all helped him. Now Snoop is stronger than ever (talking about sales), so he doesnt need X. Now. But i just said the truth about Bitch Please.
I wasn't refering to you as a snoop hater, I don't see you as that. I still believe that snoop helped X a lot more with bitch please, than X helped snoop. I think X is a great rapper, and he did a damn good job on Bitch Please, but he wasn't very well known at all until this song came out. This song pretty much paved the way for X's career from then on out. X got to be on 2001, the up in smoke tour, got dre to exec produce his albums. Face it, Snoop sells albums. X has made a lot more money thanks to snoop.
