This is my first post on the forum, so what up everybody?  Glad to see you got the Warren G interview up... major props for that... but interview could've been a little better in my opinion, but you take what you can get.

I don't know why you're all gettin' on him for how he presented himself... the guy just did a show... probably was exhausted... and I seen Snoop and Dre and other guys in interview segments lookin' much worse than that so, ain't no thing.

Anyhow, can't blame Warren for seeming that way... rap industry has turned to trash ever since '98.

I'd like to see Warren go out decently since this is gonna be his last record... and for all of you saying Return of Regulator flopped... come on guys... that ain't fair... Warren's in the same boat as everyone else like DJ Quik, Mack 10, E-40, etc. etc.  All once prominent figures in rap, all former platinum artists now strugglin' with sales... Guys, it ain't Warren fallin off... it's just that no one gives a shit about the west coast sound.  That's why the only guys outta the west that are still strivin are Dre, Snoop, and Cube... they're the only ones accepted on a mainstream level.  And I ain't gonna even mention Game cause he has to prove if he can sell copies without havin 50 cent all over his records.

But so I mean... Return of Regulator sold 250,000... it ain't mind blowin, but it's right in the ballpark for sales that other former west coast stars like Quik have been doin since '98.

Warren needs a good label that'll promote him properly... and if he can get just one hit.. we'll see... considering his knack for single making, it aint outta the question... remember guys... anything sells if they market it to sell

They just haven't been marketing west coast music to sell... that's why everyone's fallen off

Let's see if this Snoop attempt at a west coast revival really works

his last album flopped coz it wasnt that good and it wasnt promoted properly.
warren g might not have the fans he once did, but that can all change if he makes a hit again.
he's made hits b4, and he can do it again.
the mainstream fans will jump on whats hot
if warren makes somethin hot, and it gets promoted properly, he could be a platinum artist again.
the twinz are unkown to the mainstream but they could do well on the underground releasin independant records

you're forgetting one thing. old people dont make hits anymore. the new generation of 12 & 13 yr olds dont know who warren g is and old dudes like warren g aren't marketable to the youth.

snoop is old but he has personality and  hes still successful cuz he stays in the spotlight. the same can not be said about warren g.

What are you talking about man? I put the Regulate on here in Minneapolis, and EVERYONE starts rapping along. As much as I hate listening to the radio, it's on during work, and during lunch they have a segment called Back In The Day Buffet, and the song is on there every single day.

People know who Warren G is, it's just a matter of making a song that is a big radio hit. If the Ying Yang Twinz can do it, so can Warren.

Give him a break. You could see he was tired and stoned as fuck. Something I was this saturday as well.

Warren is a legend, and as a matter of fact I've digged out Take A Look Over Your Shoulder from my shelf, and been bumpin it for 7 days straight. Return of The Regulator was dope as hell too. You know that shit wasn't promoted properly. I love that cd.

Warren just need to get himself out there again. "Lookin At You" got a lot of spins, but then nothing happened. This man is one of the greatest producers ever in my book, and I can't wait for a new album from him. It's a shame if label politics makes this man leave the game coz it sure needs him.

peace.
