For those that have access to sales databases or otherwise, does anyone know how many copies this album sold? Seem like I remember of Dre saying it did go platinum, but I didnt/couldnt find it on Riaa.com

I'm pretty sure it went double platinum; almost 100% positive I looked that up before.

A lot of the instrumentals were ok on there (even the r&b tracks) but the new unistablished rappers were unbearable.  The Truth Hurts album is the one i don't understand not blowing.  The production on that shit was fire.

exactly!  hottest shit on that lp.  the main problem with that shit was that there was minimal input from dre.  and, to be honest, that shit that was on there that he produced was mediocre.  the dude was in a bad place...  he just left death row, everybody is dissing him, and he felt like he needed to go another direction with his music, but he wasn't sure where to go.  eminem ended up being the spark that he needed.
