Yeah, better to kill the baby? Please. Killing a baby is "one of the most vile and disgusting things I can think of and in my view is actually up there with the crime itself since it KILLS"
How's that? Opinions are like assholes, we all have one.

yes

so why do you still defend them in this case? it doesn't make any sense

because they have beliefs which they can't go back on..
they cant just chop and change what they preach just bcoz people are defying the rules
they cant

Exactly. I'm not catholic. I understand where they're coming from.
It would be the same if people were killing those who wouldn't deny christ. According to the idiots on this board, the Catholic church should then get with the times, and instruct people to deny Christ, so they wouldn't die.
The church doesn't believe in premarital sex, whether it's happening, or not! It doesn't matter if the entire world is doing it, they don't believe in it. They also don't believe in contraception. If everyone was NOT having premarital sex (like the church believes they shouldn't), then all the tons and tons of babies born as a result would be born in wedlock. You wouldn't have the problem of young mothers with unwanted babies.
Yall think they should change with the times, they can't change with the times, it's one of their beliefs. The immaturity of people to even GRASP a concept on this board is stunning sometimes. Yall are some of the most spineless, pussified people ever, don't you have ANYTHING you stand for, anything you don't go back on, anything you don't change to suit whatever whim is blowing around that day? The Catholic Church does... they're standing in a world that's already changed past what they offer, but yet they still offer it because that's what they think is right. None of yall are intelligent enough to respect that, so I say fuck off.

The Pope is not the Prime Minister, you know what i mean? He doesnt make laws and you dont go to jail if you dont respect his opinion. He's just there to tell you what's good and what's wrong for Christians. Catholic Christians of the Church of Rome, to be precise. Every move you make, that's always up to you, expecially if we talk about those ethical things. The Church shows you the right way from their point of view, exactly like Muslims or Jews do it. Then you can do whatever you want, they dont force you to make anything, really. That's what i'm saying. Here, in Italy, where the Pope lives, abortion is legal, divorces are legal (and a lot of people devorce, unfortunally), condoms are legal and used by almost everybody (but the dumb ones who doesnt really give a fuck), pills and shit are legal and a lot of girls uses them, and we are having a referendum in a pair of months for other ethical problems like those ones (but the whole Italian Nation is voting, not the Christians only). The Pope tells you what you should do. Then you can do whatever you want. That's why we pray God to forgive our sins.

the media gets influenced by the pope too... there would be a lot more education on safe sex all over the world if the pope would say "if you have sex, use a condom"
i know we can't expect the pope to say "yeh its ok to have sex whenever u want", but we can't expect him to deny the fact it's happening either
and seer's on point too

Man that's so fake that, like i just said, here, in Italy, we have abortions, divorces, we use condoms and females takes pills. 90% of them. Whoever uses the Pope to make propaganda, he's the one to blame.

What is happening in the world is that you see sex on tv 24/7, that internet is full of sex, that girls have sex for the first time when they are 14-15 years old, that 80% of today's movies have at least a sex scene, that people think sex is the most important thing in life, etc.. That's what's happening. That gay are getting married, that you can have kids even if you a gay, that you can have a kid by the sperm of a dead man too, that you can frooze your sperm to have 300 kids, that you...... that's what's happening!
The soluction is not the condoms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the Church.
That's why i totally disagree.
Then i understand that if a girl gets raped, she probably doesnt want a kid and she should abort, if she wants. But abortions are legal in almost the whole world, so what's the problem? You kill the baby and it's over, if you want to.
