D12's Bizarre Delves Into Puberty, Porn And Rock Stardom

D12's Bizarre says he's not done being a part of the band, but it's time for him to finally do his solo album. So after years of talk, Bizarre will release his Hannicap Circus on June 28.

"I've basically been doing this for a minute. People say my verses are so humorous they want to hear more."

"We was like, 'Let's go ahead and get it over with, let people see another side of me,' " he said from his crib in Atlanta on Tuesday. "I've basically been doing this for a minute. People say my verses are so humorous they want to hear more. It's a little bit more stories about me and my life. ... It tells my story as an MC trying to struggle in the rap game. It has some crazy stuff."

Bizarre said his off-the-wall album title is a nod to himself and some of the people whose paths he's crossed over the years.

"Every entertainer I've been around has been on some weird, crazy sh--," he explained. "It's something weird about them, Dre, Eminem, everybody I've been around — especially R&B singers — it's something weird about them. I think artists is just weird, period. I know I have got some weird, crazy habits. I consider myself a special person. There's nobody like me."

While Biz is in a league of his own, he did say that he and Devin the Dude share a certain kinship, so he asked the comedic rapper to join his Circus. Eminem and D12 are also on board, as is Raphael Saadiq, Dead Pres, Erick Sermon and Hi-Tek.

"Me and [Hi-Tek] bonded like Pete Rock and CL Smooth," Bizarre said. "We vibed well. He knew what I was looking for, I knew what he was looking for. We had a great chemistry together. We might do a whole album. Erick Sermon was great too. It was like working with Dre, I gained so much knowledge."

"Plenty of jokes" is how Bizarre described the session with Devin and Outkast's Big Boi, who collaborated with him on "Porno Bitches."

"I been knowing Devin like three or four years," he said. "We been planning on working something together. It was magic. I was feeling the track and said, 'Damn, I need to put Big Boi from Outkast on there.' We're rappin' about porno bitches, but not really. It's how when you're young, 13 and 14, you sneak a peek at your momma and daddy's magazines — their freaky DVDs or tapes. It's really about puberty."

Outkast and D12 toured together a few years back, so the relationship was already there. Bizarre is living in Atlanta now, and seeing as how he and Big had a few mutual friends, acquiring the services of Andre 3000's partner was no problem. It wasn't difficult to get Saadiq, either. Bizarre was in L.A. one day and cold called Saadiq's studio. Raphael just happened to be there and told Bizarre to come and vibe with him. The result is a track called "Coming Home."

"'I'm talking about coming home to my family," he said. "My wife and kids, aunties, uncles. I been on the road the last five years of my life. I been on every Eminem tour, every D12 tour. Sometimes you get sick of each other and you want to get in your own bed, fart and take a sh-- or whatever. So that's what 'Coming Home' is about — being stress-free, watching the NCAA tournament. I ain't seen the NCAA tournament in two years. I finally saw one yesterday."

TV isn't in the forecast for Bizarre this summer. He and the gang are going on the Anger Management 3 tour with the G-Unit and Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz (see "Eminem, 50, Lil Jon, G-Unit, D12 Team Up For Anger Management 3 Tour This Summer").

"It's gonna be crazy," he predicted. "I ain't even see the stage yet, but it's supposed to be crazy. We're supposed to have 15 doors you can come out of. I know Lil Jon's stage is going to be crazy, then we have 50 and G-Unit and us. It's gonna be a sight to see. We come up with [our show] collectively, but basically Em and Proof put the stage show together."

Bizarre is going to shoot the first video from Hannicap Circus next week for the Eminem-produced "Rockstar." Wouldn't you know it, it takes up where the "My Band" video left off. "Basically, the last time people seen me, I smacked Eminem and took over the band. So my video is my life as rock star after I took over the band."
