I dunno, you have to look at it from the WWE's perspective.

1. They've been paying Rhyno for years to basically do nothing.  When he WAS doing something, he wasn't doing much, and although he was mildly 'over' with the fans, he never would have been able to carry a title match, or in any stretch of the imagination be world champ.

2. Randy Orton is a third generation superstar, the descendant of two legends, wildly popular with the fans, in extremely great physical conditioning, a great ring wrestler, young with many, many years ahead of him, talented on the mic, looks good, and can carry a heavyweight match, as well as be a believable world champion.

You're looking at two entirely different types of wrestlers.  Rhyno fucked up when he acted a fool in front of 'customers' of a company that's been paying him for years to do nothing.  He bit the hand the feeds him.  Randy Orton could fuck up far, far worse than he has already, and get away with it for all the reasons I mentioned above, he actually has something to offer the WWE, and isn't a charity case like Rhyno.

I agree with most of the stuff you've said but how far can management allow Randy Orton to treat his peers and other wrestlers with disrespect,
and most of all the fans. They are the reason why he has a paycheck, not the stockholders.
They compare him a lot to The Rock but even The Rock did not have the attitude and cockiness(It can work for or against you) that Randy Orton has.Besides, He pales in comparison to The Rock as far as achievements in the ring is concerned. When they thought Randy Orton was ready to be the franchise and put the world title on him by removing him from Evolution and turning him babyface, the fans spoke by booing the hell out of him, which they still do.

As for Rhyno, It's a very unfortunate situation for the guy.I hope somewhere down the road we will see him again.

Randy Orton has never, ever disrespected the fans.  Rhyno just did this past weekend.  Even if Randy HAD disrespected the fans, since he's a valuable commodity with something to give to the WWE, he could get away with it.

As for pranks in the back room, tons of old school guys do that.  They're not going to fire somebody for pulling pranks.  The 'shit in the purse' thing isn't the first time something like that has happened.

& please don't think that just because the fans are booing Orton, face, or heel, that he isn't over.  He's hugely popular, and rightfully so, the guy has what it takes in every way.

even more on Rhyno:

Source: Wrestling-Observer Newsletter

At last week's WrestleMania, Rhyno destroyed a ceramic flower pot at the Universal Sheraton Hotel, creating the incident that led to his removal from World Wrestling Entertainment. Sources attributed the incident to a fight with his wife, although little was known about the true cause.

Reportedly, Rhyno and his wife are undergoing a nasty separation, with his wife planning to take their daughter to Germany. His wife showed up at the PPV without Rhyno's daughter, prompting him to express his discontent with the fact that he would not get to see his child. An argument broke out and Rhyno picked up an extremely heavy flower pot, smashing it in frustration. Hotel security actually stepped in, and Tommy Dreamer was dispatched to bring Rhyno upstairs. Upon getting off the elevator, Johnny Ace met the duo, but Rhyno snapped and tried to go back down. He made it clear that he had nothing left to lose and didn't care if he was fired.

I'm sorry, But if Randy Orton takes a shit in my duffel bag, He's got some ass whooping coming his way. That's just way overboard and crossing the line.Especially since he did to a female and not "one of the boys". The fans have turned on his ass because they simply don't like him maybe not as a wrestler, but as a person. Now they released Rhyno and Matt Hardy? WWE, C'mon!
