In all fairness, he never mentioned Eminem the rapper. He was referring to Em being remembered among the rock gods. I think it's in regards to his influence and stature.

LMAO at all these ignorant cats trying to say Elton doesnt know what he's talkin about, he is a true musician, way moer talented than any of us, he is up there with Hendrix and Prestley himself so for him to name Em that, not as a musician but as an entertainer(I'm assuming) its gotta be soemthing worthwile.  You ask what Elton knows about Hip Hop, I ask what you know about being an musician/entertainer

Spot on with your comments about Elton John. Yes he's a fat fucking queen, but as a musician he's top notch. He's got shit loads more classic songs then A LOT of artists.
