the pope is just an important figure that leads the church. he is admired deeply, but not worshiped.

That's why I asked for somebody educated like MDogg to answer.
My mom's side of the family is Catholic, and my fathers side is baptist. I grew up around it on my mothers side, so I have some idea about Catholisism although obviously worshipping a man as God or Gods son or praying to his mom and all the hypocrisy never interested me. But I know people go into confession and ask for a priest to forgive them or something like that, so I don't see what was so unacceptable about my questions about the Pope. Anyway, I don't want to be disrepectful to the Pope (and MDogg is one of the better posters here) .....so I'll stop there.

According to your worldview, I am a failure. So I guess it's a good thing that I don't subscribe to your way of thinking. Because in my way of thinking having an individual like yourself reject me is only further confirmation that Allah has accepted me in his path.
