coat arms for my county.. somerset

the animal in the middle on the shield is a "wyvern"
the apples i assume signify cider production. the area is world famous for its cider..
there used to be an internaional company called "taunton cider" based here..
they made a brand called blackthorn which is still available but the brand is owned
by another company now.. and the factory remains empty on the outside of town :(
