WWE Management Worried About Backlash From Firing Matt Hardy

-- Matt Hardy is working on a DVD project, which will document the careers of his brother Jeff and himself. It will also apparently “clear the air” in detail regarding recent controversy.

-- WWE is now realizing that the firing of Matt Hardy has generated a backlash much larger than they expected. Edge faced massive chants of “You screwed Matt” and “We want Matt” during his match on RAW this week. After this happened, WWE management realized that there was no way they could bring Lita out to the ring without the same thing happening. So instead, they decided to interview her backstage, but the boos were immediate and intense then as soon as her image showed up on the screen, which certainly did not make WWE management happy. The main feeling in WWE right now is that they have created a monster by firing Mat Hardy, and that monster will be very hard to keep quiet.

I agree, they fucked up by firing him. A move to Smackdown wouldve been better.

I think this is gonna be like the "you screwed bret" chants Vince Mcmahon and Earl Hebner get each time they go the Canada.

I'm glad they fired him. He was being misused like a muthafucka. He can actually show his talent at another fed.

honestly, its sad to say but this could be the best thing that ever happened to his career. think about it, now people care about matt hardy, i mean i did before but his gimmick was shitty as hell and they were definately misusing him. imo, matt hardy is like a future shawn michaels type wrestler who is a fit size and great in the ring, with the right push he would've been a great i.c. champ and maybe somewhere down the road a heavyweight champ. the next time matt hits a ring people are gonna go crazy and i think it's going to be a career altering experience, peace.

Its possible but it will be REAL interesting to see how this goes down. This is the best angle they have had in a long time, and its real...

i think it was a dumb move for wwe to fire matt hardy....they now lost a great talent...and being booed is what they get....that was probably there biggest mistake wwe made since rvd being sent to the low midcard ...

Are you wondering what Edge did to deserve what he is getting? He cheated on his wife just a couple of months after marrying her and cheats on her with the girlfriend of his best friend. So Edge and Lita have destoried 2 possibly 4 lives because Matt, and Edge's ex-wife lives are ruined and Edge has the track record that he is probably going to reck Lita's life as well.
