Fandango or Fandangle?

We just learned about this in my Spanish class... the Fandango is / was a dance popular in Spain kinda like the Flamenco... they dont really dance it in clubs, its a traditional/cultural dance... i actually brought the song into class and played it and my teacher was like "They don't dance the fandango to this type of music"  of course she said it in castellano
