Does Edo-G have the same voice as Benzino ??

Never listened much to Edo-G, despite Primo & Pete Rock production, but compare these two tracks:

Boulevard Connection feat. Edo-G, Masta Ace & Common - Claiming Respect (remix) (Banger)

Check the first verse, and compare to:

Benzino - Checkmate

At first I thought Benzino stepped his game up, the flow is somewhat similar as well..  ;D

i have, believe it or not, heard both Edo G and Benzino rap before...


i dont think they sound the same, although there may be similarities due to the fact they are both from Boston...

I've also heard both before of course, but never thought about the similarity before I heard "Claiming respect remix"..

No way.... maybe on this track but Ed OG is Hip-Hop, Benzino is .......WACK! LOL ! Ed OG latest material is sick! that shit he and Pewte Rock done together... man that was tight!
