trying ta make it big, make the folks proud
but im not going far with my hangin cloud
going to a private college in the fall
with a big rep but the campus is small
so i hope i make it through and stick it out
i dream of making it big, havin my doubts
ny sucks, going bankrupt everywhere
and you thought 9-11 was a scare
were losing our parks, how dumb is that
no more jobs, thats a fact
cuz everyone is movin, leavin this state
hell ya cant even find a mate
scared of another disaster
but which will come faster
bombs, job loss, startvation?
in this god damn nation
trying to make a place to live your life
is like ordering a mail order wife
dont know if itll come, dont know if itll be nice
but ya do it anyway, hoping, you aint gotta try twice
but you will in new york, without question
its a dead end, so much oppression
taxes going up, put ya money in ma cup
cuz im so po' thats fo sho'
ya gotta try and endure
govement trying ta find a cure
but we gotta lose giambra hes hurting us bad
man that boy dont know how ta add,
hes telling us lies, no surprise
chaos, crimes on the rise
cant even recognize
all the hurt in eachothers eyes
but new yours hurting, going down the drain
becuse of giambras reign
might as well leave, get outta here
or throw your troubles away and have a beer

i tried to be descriptive, just so y'all know, Giambra is a lying politician thats on the county board. ny is nice to visit, but not to live.
