sketchin' my teachers to perfection, like a true Quick Draw
I Kicked Raw disses to any chump that had it Comin'
Cunnin' since elementary, never even thought of Runnin'
played w/ my homie's dad's Gun & set things Ablaze
when cornered, I wasn't Afraid cuz I had a Blade
but gettin' jumped Made me vent my Rage, I was Angry
niether police, peers or anybody else could Understand Me
began to keep a pen & pad Handy, my 2 Closest Friends
only my ink & paper tell the truth, they Don't Pretend
no Phonie Trends, I never had enough to buy New Shit
suspended & expelled, school to school; pure Excuses
then I discovered Music & it Proved To come Naturally
used to lie to get out of trouble, but now I speak Factually
and Actually, I should really be Thankful For Hip Hop
cuz if not for these poems, I'd be a Gangsta That Licks Shots
