I always liked Mohammed when he was the starting center for New York...He was a good offensive player and an equally good rebounder...I hated to see him get traded to San Antonio, because I thought they would rarely use him, and during the regular season I was right, he didn't get much playing time...But he's been starting at center for San Antonio during the playoffs and actually performing well...So now, I think, the Spurs are an even better team than they previously were...Rasho Nesterovic has been a solid center for San Antonio and usually did a pretty good job, but his prime was during his Minnesota days and I truly believe Nazr is an improvement...So who do you think is better starting at center for San Antonio?

Rasho for sure. Only because of his familiarity with the offense. I think Nazr is a better player though, and would become a better fit with time.

exactly lots of these dawgs don't know shit about basketball. Like an other dude said Rasho plays for the Spurs for 2 years so he knows better the way they execute defense and offense.Though in the playoffs Nazir plays solid games and have a important impact when it comes to rebounds and blocks, while Rasho plays a very few minutes. I still think Rasho can be a better player but for me his his game is too soft

I think Popovich chose the wrong time to switch up the line-up...Rasho holds more weight with the Spurs and should still be starting due to him being more familiar with how the team runs...Nazr is obviously more talented, but the Spurs shoulda' waited until next year to have him start at center...Spurs will remain a strong team for quite a while.

yeah i dont see Rasho as athletic enough to hang in this series. But Nazr needs to get more physical and clean up on the boards. Btw....i wanna see the whole team get more physical. Shit, every team other then Pheonix has been tryin to slam parker and manu to the ground everytime they drive. This series, the refs arent callin shit. So fuckit, when hamilton comes off that screen on the baseline...i wanna see a big for SA knock his ass on the ground. When Billups gets into the lane, take a hard foul. Send a message. Shit, i guarentee u fragile ass Rip and Prince wont go to the ground too many times before they get cautious...

Nzar is the better scorer, better player...Rasho is lucky if he gets 10 minutes.

ANywayz...it doesn't matter...doesn't Pop let Nzar start the game..but then he subs him off for Horry? So Duncun and Horry switch back and forth from Center to PF?....Nzar gets like 25 minutes a game while Horry plays 30 plus (he plays all of the 4th)

also...rasho has played almost NOTHING the whole playoffs.

To answer your question, I think Nazr is better than Rasho simply because he plays with more aggression and can score a little better.  Rasho is a good sub but he's not as versatile as Nazr or Horry.

To off in a different direction...the Spurs need to upgrade the backup point guard position...Beno sucks.  Period.

Well, Arroyo is more or less a third option.  Lindsey Hunter is a good backup for Billups.

But Beno...everytime the bastard has the ball it seems like he turns it over or does something stupid.

I actually think Beno has a chance of developing into something...Maybe not superstar status, but he can be a good roll player in the future...PeACe
