The soundtrack is nice.

yeah its a good film.. better quality than 'the mack;

the soundtrack is very tied into the movie..
curtis mayfield sings live in a bar scene in the film

e.g. the song "freddies dead" does gets played after he was killed
junkie chase suprisingly is played during a chase with... a junlie.. lol

'the mack' isnt as well put together..doesnt mean its bad.. just lower budget

for another pimp movie check out Willie Dynamite.. thought that was a cool film

also i'd check out Coffy  too.. thats a dope film.. pam grier was soooooo hot..


dolemite is kinda funny, but not that good really..
i'd avoid "cooley high" think its really wack..
