PC Help (help please)

i got a problem with my computer. about 3 months ago my computer was trippin and it froze on me. and i shut it down inproperly. and then this pop up




this is wat happends wen i press F5 or F8





and the problem is that i dont have a recovery disk so i cant do that. can anyone tell me how to fix it or if theres another alternative. thanx

Run it in safe mode. Do a virus scan. That's pretty much it. Get a spyware scanner too. If that doesn't work, take it to Best Buy and pay $100 to get your system rebooted. That's what I did. I also got an external hard drive so I don't have to worry about all my files getting deleted.

does it happen all the time when you start the computer up?

basically, you can do;

start the computer in safe mode, reboot, then see if it does it
start the computer normally (if its not doing it all the time)

let me know the details of it, there are some files you can copy to fix the problem (if it needs repairing), windows keeps those files on your PC incase you don't have the recovery disk

follow this start/run/( n when that pops up enter  SCANREG) n it should fix it for you if not           http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/messages.htm

yea, it happens everytime i start up the computer. i did all u told me to do and it shows up the same thing as it did before.

i cant do that because it dosent take me to the start up menu. please hook me up with the other alternative.
