#1. America came and picked a fight with the Iraqi people, so they are fighting back. The Qu'ran gives Muslims permission to defend themselves and resist oppression.
#2. Yes, Sadaam was not a good man or good leader, he was admittedly a secular leader, not an Islamic leader. When the Kurds and Shiite's tried to rise up against him, he suppressed that movement, just like you saw America suppressing the riots in Watts and LA with the National Gaurd, tear gas, whatever. One Shiite Imam, Muqtaddar Al-Sadr has had family members killed by Sadaam Hussien. However, his statement about the United States invasion was as follows... "The little serpent is out, the big serpent is in."
#3. America didn't give Iraq any money, rather they are stealing Iraq's strongest natural resource: oil. Unemployment is at a higher rate today in Iraq than it ever was under Sadaam, and electricity still hasn't reached pre-war levels. One of the reasons Iraqi's suffered before was because of economic sanctions placed on Iraq by the US government/United Nations that starved thousands of children every year. And poverty has actually increased since America's invasion.

#1. If another religon had a rule that said you could kill everybody, it still wouldnt be right. Thats why im saying the Quran isnt qualified to tell the whole world how to live. obviously the economy is gonna be bad in a country thats still in a war. wait till after the war and than reflect on it. What was the minimum wage before the war, and what is it now. The Qu'ran is not trying to "tell the whole world how to live". In just the second chapter of the Noble Qu'ran Allah states that the Qu'ran is a "giudance to those who believe in the unseen." So if you only believe and worship the physical characteristics of the life of this world, then the Qu'ran is just words to you. But for those who are believe in a higher power, it is a mercy and giudance upon them.
The Qu'ran also states that it is a confirmation of what has came before from previous Prophets, and that it offers an analysis of all things. So the Qu'ran means different things to different people depending on your level of consciousness.
Verses 2:2-2:5
This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.
Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;
And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.
They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.
Verse 12:111
There is, in the (Qu'ran) stories,
Instruction for men of understanding.
It is not a tale invented,
but a confirmation of what was sent (by the Prophets) before it,

And a guide and a mercy to any such as believe.
