i've liked how Fat Pat's - 'Tops Drop' starts out
Geto Boys - 'Mind Playin tricks on me'  is a song i can play for hours and hours and never get tired of it....
Dr Dre - 'Still D.R.E' always gives me chills...cuz dre was back!
outkast - 'Southernplayalisticaddilacmusic' was smooth as fuck
Ice Cube - 'it was a good day' is always a good song to end a day with
Dj Quik - 'Speed' always get me pumped


these are the few tight beats that come to mind..i can't really pick one or two without mentioning a few others...thats waaaaaay to hard

PR and CL Smooth - TROY ... best use of sampling ever
Mausberg feat DJ Quik - The Truth Is ...this track has everything, dope piano/guitar solo at the end, voice box in the hook. Also, this track has a 16bar bebop jazz structure. This song musically may be the most sophisticated hip hop track ever recorded.
GZA - Liquid Swords ... Best headnod type beat.
Snoop Doggy Dogg - The Shiznit ... Dre's best beat. The percussion is precise and clean, you have the best bassline ever, and the flute just sounds perfect. This track is a decade ahead of it's time musically and it's just some classic Gfunk.
