I was peeping out some old interviews from the Aftermath website, and came across this...

How man songs do you have from Dre or Eminem thats not been relased?

Truthfully. I have some joints with Dre that I havent heard that he keeps. I did a song with Game and the last I heard about it, Dre was on the second verse. Nate is on the hook and Em is on the third verse.

It's not written in people are buzzin about it around the camp. I meant written in stone. I wish i could listen to it . That one is locked up. Game might have it. Hit him up yo.

Whoa, that's some interesting stuff right there. So the OG Triple OG version of "Where I'm From" was Game f\ Nate Dogg, Dre and Eminem. We all heard the unreleased Dre verse, but I never knew Em had a verse on it.

i think its hard for an artist to have dre and em on the same song
if u remember when whoo kid was hypin 50's album he said the first single is a dre beat from detox and fatures eminem
song is bananas even mtv reported that shit

Yeah, I remember that. But that was about a year ago, many months before 50's album was set to come out. I remember those reports in late May, early June, hyping a song called "Encore", saying it was 50 feat. Em & Dre, but I guess that turned into the song we heard on Em's album. The Focus track, though my guess is that is was indeed "Where I'm From"...makes the most sense, Dre on a verse, Nate on the hook...I remember talk about Dre mixing it a few different times before he settled on the final version.

^^Yup. It's a good thing he didn't retire on that verse, I mean it was aight, but not worthy of his last one.

I was just reading that interview too. Read down further he mentions a track called "mad at the Aftermath" it was done with knocturnal around the time the wash came out. This recently surfaced as "detox snippet 2"
