Tell me, if you got some bread (Dre) and you put on some good new jelly (50) what will people talk about?  Does smuckers sell Bread?  No, and I will tell you why.  Bread is an easy product to make.  Dont get me wrong I love Dre, I love Warren G, 213 and the west coast.  BUT everyday I see the best artists in the indusrty going to work at there 9-5 because no one will put them on.  Dre helped 50 because of name recognition.  50 made himself.  There are 1000's of producers out there that every bit as good and better then Dre.  But it is the name assocciation with Dre that makes him what he is, not producing beats.

He's a Dre protege like Snoop.  Personally, I got into his tracks that were put out before his CD and didn't even know he was down with 50.  I just heard he was with Dre and bringing some hardcore tracks.

Plus he's a hardcore Eazy-E head so that made me like him from the get go

The only reason Dre has any claim to putting 50 on the scene is this.  All of you know that its about who you know!  There are a select few that say yes and no and cats careers either move forward or there stuck at the local/regional level.  Dre wouldnt even put his brother on and Warren G could be the west coast lead dog!  Dre did the same thing for Em, he gave him the oppertunity for people to here him.  1000's of producers are out there, and if it wouldnt have been "in da club" from dre it could have been "in da club" with deztined out in AZ.  All you got to do is drop the beat and 50 kills it and he had/has what it took/takes to be himself.  dre didnt develop that, columbia saw it and so did diddy, but the risk at the time was to great.  before dre, 50 was a quarter of the industries favorite rapper and killed every mixed tape he was on.  As for the game, dude can flow but his album is a dre 2001 knock off and most of it is terrible.  Fact of the matter is this, Em put dre back on the map.  When Dre first left Deathrow he put out the album aftermath and it was the biggest steaming pile of hud I have ever listened to.  Then came Em, made two albums that Em killed.  Dre did the same thing, gave Em the exposer because of dre's name.  Now 50 came and brought G-Unit.  Tell me young buck and Lloyd banks dont deserve deals!  Are we going to start saying that if it wasnt for 50s name recognition that banks and buck would still be selling dope.  We would BUT dudes got skills and made every chance they got count!  But it was them that sold the albums and promoted not 50.  Putting this all back in context dre did nothing more then open the door for 50, because only 50 could have walked through it and gone to work.

Another thing, why arent we talking about how come the game starts beife with xzibit?  how the west coast is fighting itself?  Mean while there are dudes like Atllas in AZ, eksurt in Ontario, Canada, Zion I (my home boys) from Oakland, Slim from Florida, and Fred Knuxx out in DE.  That are the best artist the nation has never heard all because we got a bunch non-talented people in the industry holding them back.  Atllas for example met with Interscope, Columbia and Rocafella last year.  They told him yeah lets build they got 2 days from a deal with the ROC and ROC backed out.  Why?  because if you put talented cats on you show the world that the music that is on now is garbage.  Missy, Timberland, and Jazzy Fay, noise!  Lil John oh my gosh he is the worst artist since john denver!!  Why did they consent every one except fred to extend the DJ Kurupt mixed tape comp?  Because Fred was way ahead and they didnt want him to win and guess what he didnt.  So who ever said it before was correct its not about the east vs. west.  Its the haves vs. have nots and the haves are terrible and will be exposed real soon!  ~1

"Where would Game be without 50?"....... .............Game didnt need 50 to sell records......50 didnt produce "How We Do".....nor did he write Game's rhymes. All he did was help wit the promotion. 50 didnt need another "50" to sell wit joints like "In Da Club", nor did Game "have" to have 50 on his singles to sell records.

Its not about "name association". Its about what the music sounds like.......if you drop consistent hit after hit and the public likes ur style then u gonna sell. Sure havin' 50 ridin' wit Game didnt hurt, but believe me, he didnt need 50 to get where he is.

Game could have had dropped "Higher"(without 50) as a first single and he still would have had the buzz, or dropped "How We Do" without 50 and that would have been enuff too.......but I highly doubt that if 50 didnt exist and there was no G-Unit and Dre signed Game, that Game would have flopped.......I highly, highly doubt it!!!!
