If it comes out your speakers but doesn't record, it's probably just not recording from the right input

Make sure the recording input is set to Line In/Microphone

(Ignore the Playback Control part)

And if it still doesn't work when you change it to Line In or Microphone, try changing it to Stereo Mix

Thanks for the suggestion bro, but I got the recording part to happen, but just can't figure out why the volume level is changing so drastically after the one minute point in the track....I also just got the Crooked I "Boom Boom Clap" vinyl with the clean instrumental and acapella that I want to rip for everyone so if anyone has any further suggestions let me know so I can get this to everyone asap. Thanks again family.....
