the interview they showed at halftime of game 3, they asked him if he felt the current team could win a title. And he did say..."its a 3 year contract, and it would be amazing if we could win one by the 3rd year. Winning a championship isnt the reason i came back" Take it how u want, but that is what he said.

Point is, that's just the way Phil is...He said the same typa' shit back in '99 before he brought LA the 3 titles...Jerry Buss is aimin' high, trust me...
