Author Topic: If Dre doesn't use ALL his own beats, who'd you like to see produce on 'Detox'?  (Read 670 times)

BTW, lol at people in this and Mellow Man's threads who don't know any Hi-Tek before he starting working with Aftermath.
i hope that peeps been checking him out for the shit he did for Talib too though. Talib with Tek=great songs, Talib replacing Tek with The Neptunes and Kanye and all that other shit=average music.

No, I mean it. Eminem is the most underrated producer out there at the moment. Loyal To The Game is already a classic.

Well I think just sticking to having Hi-Tek or Focus co-produce with him will be fine, you don't want too many people on it if Dre is going for one overall new sound. Should get Premier in just to do a dope scratched hook to one of the tracks, maybe Dre's farewell to the game with loads of his most famous lines scratched in the hook or something like that.

I can't deny it, the only work of Tek's I knew prior to his collaborations with Doggystyle/Aftermath/Shady, etc. was that on Reflection Eternal with Kweli and his Rawkus solo. That said, he's never been the greatest producer to me. Very hit and miss.

I'm more likely to LOL at the people who suddenly begin hyping him as one of rap's greatest producers because he could play a prominent role in ''Detox''. He's about to get a few new 'fans'!
