the soundtrack of XXX State Of The Union has West Coast artists on there

but you're right though... artists get a lot of exposure by featuring on a popular soundtrack

garden state and vanilla sky have good soundtracks :)... oo pulp fiction, reservior dogs, and reuqiem for a dream.. thats of the top oif my head
