There was a news conference when I turned on CNN this morning, and they were talking about a sniper taking one of them out? The guy on the news didn't really elaborate much.
If there's any good news to come from this tragedy, it's the phenomenal emergency response that sprung up. From what I'm hearing, I guess it saved a LOT of lives.

yeah they've done a lot of practice drills on the underground.. especially since the madrid bombings and the threat of chemical attacks there etc etc..

Man, this is fucked up. I still don't understand how people can do such things...and they always use religion to cover up the act. "In name of blah blah blah we did this & that".

Apparently, this is the paper where Al-Qaeda admits the bombings, and it also says "Italy, Denmark and Norway are next, starting with Italy and Denmark"... :-\
