The last interview I read from him was last year in January. He talked about setting up his own label, trying to get some beats from primo, and how he was going to release his album summer. Now it been a whole year since his album was suppose to drop. Anyone knows what is going on with him and if he is having trouble getting his label started or anything.

That interview was the last time I've heard from him or about his future plans.
I wouldn't expect anything to be released this year.  It's going on six years since his last album. That's re-goddam-diculous.

damn... I was looking forward to another rakim album. Recently I just caught up on him and the 18th letter was a great album. lol at re-goddam-diculous.
