I'm not really up on my 'hood' movies so I haven't seen ''Menace II Society'', although ''Boyz...'' is a great film. I really should watch ''Menace...'' though, even if only so I understand a few more of the spoofs in ''Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood''.

when i was younger i liked menace 2 society better because i found certain things (like the bad acting and samuel jackson's role) to be funny.  looking back, i think boyz n the hood is a better choice because it doesn't just show you how not to live... it also shows you a positive role.
