Kartoon: Starting On A High Note (interview)
« on: July 27, 2005, 02:17:04 AM »
i was wondering if he really was west coast? so i found this interview called "Starting On A High Note"...

http://www.urbanconnectionz.com/Muzik/KartoonExclusive.html

So i guess he is west coast.... and imo a dope west coast rapper!

you can hear him on these tracks on the new ruff ryders album:

If Its Beef (feat. Ruff Ryders, Kartoon and Flashy) (dope track)
What Ryders Do (feat. Scarlett, Kartoon and Aja)
Get Wild (feat. DMX, Jadakiss, Kartoon and Flashy) (BANGIN!)
Blood In The Streets (feat. Kartoon) (BANGIN!)

you can hear "Get Wild" and watch the music video for it on www.ruffryders.com

Just finish reading the interview..he didn't really say annything,,just the same old story how a rapper got started...

but i'm glad a westcoast act is on BET in a video..he also said he'll be droping a mixtape 8)

Kartoon:I’ll be dropping my own mixtape in the summer called Hunger Pain. By the grace of god, I was able to drop a video before my mixtape even came out, so now I need to double back and give the people what they really need.
