No there wazn't any Hype about an artist, before they came out, the first time a rapper waz "Hyped about" before hiz main LP dropped waz Snoop Dogg in The Source Mag back in 93. and before that it waz the Hype surrounding Dr.Dre's departure from Eazy-E but I don't think think it waz Hype about hiz up comming "Chronic" album.
