All the new shit since Kupurt came back to DPG have been average or wack

The new interview with Daz, he said he doens't think he'll have 1 beat, and Snoop heading the project.  This sh1t is already The Hard Way 2

I never got myself hyped for this shit because I knew they'd fukk it up some how and when was the last time Kurupt dropped something decent?.....................................4-5 years?

^^Co-Sign.

Btw, there's no such thing as a 213 record if Warren G isn't the main producer on the album, and there is no such thing as a Dogg Pound record if Daz isn't the main producer on the album.  They might as well call it something else.

we'll have to wait and see......funny thing is, I guess 213 coulda been better but you could say that about any album that comes out.  "The Hard Way" was still a better album than 90% of the other cd's that came out in 2004.  The problem I had with it was promotion for album sales.

its gonna be what its gonna be, if it aint tight oh well, my life goes on.....i dont even trip off music no more
except that makes you NOT a legend.  Especiallly when the wack shit is repeated and repeated and repeated.  One album and a few singles and collabs can make you great, but not a legend.  Pac, Big, Jigga, Eazy, Dre --- Those are legends.  They dont disapoint, and if they do, it aint on a consistent basis.
IE

I see what you sayin, but it always sucks when legends drop wack shit

Yeah I keep my faith in Kokane, Quik Warren dudes like that these days. At least they aint got million-dollar business men breathing down their neck..

I`m Wayne Brady bitch!

They need a producer leading this project, not Snoop, he doesn`t know shit about putting together a lp (he isn`t too good on picking beats either). The lp will probably suck, I`ll cop that Crooked I record instead 8)

Might be waiting until tha first quarter of next year for that Crooked I album... that seems to be tha trend with Crook... build up hype only to get squashed by other bullshit.... it's a shame too, cuz dude def deserves a chance to shine.... but that's how it is....

As for tha DPG albums.... tha one that Snoop is droppin will be mainstream... he wants to reintroduce tha world to tha Dogg Pound and I guess he figures if he makes it mainstream enough, it will open up more doors for Daz and Kurupt.... maybe that's wishful thinking on my part.... but time will tell...

Daz, however, mentioned that he plans on doing several DPG albums and will be overseeing production along with Soopafly, Fred, even Warren G.... so I look forward to those. About tha comments made about tha new DPG tracks being sub-par.... I dunno.... I actually like all tha ones I've heard... and that new joint they dropped on KDAY Friday night was a classic in tha making.... similar in style to tha What Would U Do beat and both Daz and Kurupt ripped it.... I only wish I had been able to record tha show in its entirety.... but if yall will lemme know when they are gonna be up in KDAY again on tha air, lemme know in advance and I'll make sure I get it out there for yall.
