I understand Quik is the name is influential and important, but listening to it today in 2002 I cant get into it.  And Under the Influence is VERY hit and miss.

After Safe n Sound and Rhythamalism, it doesn't sound like Quik is puttin in the work and effort he ahould be; he has all the talent in the world, but his albums lately are inconsistent and not up to the standards he set for himself.
