New Earth Wind & Fire Album, "Illumination" In Sept. 2005

"The brand new 2005 Illumination album will be released on Mathew Knowles' (father of Beyoncé) record company  Sanctuary Urban Records Group (SURG), and is scheduled for a US release 20. September 2005. The album features production by Grammy-Award winning production team Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and recent Grammy-Award winner Raphael Saadiq. Saadiq also lends his smooth vocals to the album, in addition to guest appearances from critically acclaimed artists Floetry and Musiq.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

No doubt. I wasn't feeling his last album so much, but Instant Vintage was fire.

^That album is heat without a doubt...I liked his new album though, that song Battlecat produced is my favorite...
