Because you can make them 19 million underaged girls like ANY type of music, as long as you market it right and make them believe it's hot. It hasn't got much to do with good music, it's more hype. Then again, Nelly isn't really as bad as y'all make him out to be.

We may not have all the answers, but at least most of us don't buy rap albums because it's way overplayed on the radio. If Brotha Lynch Hung was overplayed on the radio (lol), little girls would buy that.

i think we should all give baby g some credit for having the balls to be the only person on this board to say that he is diggin nelly and other stuff like that....nelly really isn't that bad...country grammar was an incredible album....nellyville had some sick songs. i never check sweat or suit or the derrty versions...but you can't deny the dude has some talent...i agree that there are many far more talented rappers who will probably never even go platinum....but you can't say that just cuz nelly pretty much does pop music now that he doesn't have talent because every person on here knows that back in 2000 you were all bumpin that country grammar album
