I always buy authentic CDs when I got sufficient money available for it. If I'm short of cash, I'll download and burn a copy, until I get the money to purchase the official album. That's my mentality.

It's because of assholes like you bad shit in the rap game happens, such as kurupt doing songs like it's over, or kurupt signing to the row, or snoop working with fags like Ja Rule, or Murder Inc. being on Crooked I's new album.  Thanks a lot asshole.

Do you take the money you save from not buying cd's and buy gay porn that you watch with your gay friends and have jerk circles.  You don't even deserve to listen to Daz Dilli, go download some Backstreet Boys you fagget.

Why the fuck should I care?  Because faggets such as yourself claim to be fans and you listen to the music, but you don't buy it.  So artists such as kurupt have to pull sellout moves like making It's Over type songs cause they can't break bread cause motha fuckas like yourself are too fuckin stingy to shell out $12-$15 for a cd.  A big part of crappy music these days is cause of bootlegging ass pirates like you and your friends.  Seriously man go download Britney Spears, your not worthy enough to listen to the DPGC.

I own nothing but original, authentic CD's.  It just looks better sitting on the shelf.

Yeah... I'ma be real... I dont mind people burning shit. It doesn't affect me.. it affects tha artist, but that's on them. I dont think anyone who burns shit is Less of a fan... they're still fans.. just cheap ones. Just becuase you burnt Dj Quik, and he bought it, doesn't mean you like him less, just means Dj Quik probably likes you less. So what though... not like Dj Quik's your homie, you just like his music. I can see why people burn shit.

Me myself... I own over 150 cd's... all nothing but Rap Music... and out of all 150+, none of them are burned. That's just me though.. I like having the covers and tha original shit. Having a burnt album.. doesn't feel like having the complete thing. I got cheap homies though.. not even cheap, just homies that aint into this music as much as I am. I dont trip... if they want a cd I have.. I'll burn it for them, no charge.

Verbalassaulta has a point. He's supporting them just by listening to their music. He's just not supporting them by payin their electricity bills. He seems to be more into Live Performances... so he is willing to spend money on Rap Music. I guess he just doesn't care for the album covers or doesn't care for having the original. I dont see nothing wrong with it... as long as you aint Bootleggin' shit it's all tha good.

That's just how I feel on tha subject.

True it does, but you could just copy/steal the covers to burnt cds.  :)

Although I still believe that even if you get cds of artist burnt doesn't make you any less of a fan of their music, your just not supporting them as artists. Personally if I know the cd is good or no one else I know has it, and I have the $25/30 with me, I'll buy the cd. Otherwise if I don't think it will be that good, I'll save my money and just get it burnt or d/l it.
