Snoop is a much more versatile rapper nowadays...He can still flow like he did on Doggystyle, check songs like "Buck Em" and "Henessey And Buddah", but he can do songs like "True Lies" and other r&b joints like he never did before...People who wanna just hear the Doggystyle Snoop should go listen to that album...

Snoops next cd will resemble the last few, always some great songs, because he's very talented, but also some stuff that seems like it never should have left the studio, because he's inconsistent... now, he doesn't make horrible songs, but he does make a lot of stuff below his potential... the main reason to me is that he lacks focus unless he's working on a project with Dre.  Stuff where Dre is involved is the only time he ever flows even close to the way he used to... he sounds too smoked out the rest of the time...

Tha thing dat made Doggystyle so great was the hunger, Snoop was new and had to prove himself he don't got the hunger no more, He need to lose everything he got if he ever gona be like that again.

I don;t think i can add much more. Everything has been said. But people need to quit that "he's wack now, doggystyle was the shit" thing. If you don't like his shit then stfu and don;t listen to it.

Personally i still like snoop. Always have and always will. I dig his pimpshit and i dig the dogghouse production team. nuff said.

I'm still feeling Snoop, just not as much as the Doggystyle days. All his albums since then have been so inconsistant that I rarely actually listen to any of his other albums other than Doggystyle.

He's never gonna do another Doggystyle but if he at least keeps some quality control over his work, and puts time into creating an amazing 14 track album rather than 21 tracks of inconsistantancy then it will be tight. He just seems to have got lazy.
