oh yeah... what about that Daz comment that he's about to diss Snoopy? and did he have a fallout with Xzibit


basically ask him his opinion on why so many cliques/groups that seem tight and have good musical chemistry seem to fallout
(for example bone, dogg pound for a while, the quik camp, other examples i cant think of now) why cant they put the personal beefs aside, have a strictly professional relationship and bang out some heat? no one wins because the artist and the fans both suffer

I remember reading an old interview in which quik said he produced safe and sound in 1994, but in 1995 he used half of it for the official safe and sound and that he produced new songs for the other half. He said he might release that other half of the original safe and sound that he never used. My question: Is he still planning to release it and when? I would love to hear that other half.

what is your advice to new producers? how do you usually come up with your melodies? do you start with drums first and then melodies and bass or what's the order? what's your favorite instrument to use when making beats? what do you think about the bay area rap - san quinn, e40, andre nickatina, mac dre, etc? will you be working with any bay area artists in the near future? what do you think abuot the whole g unit vs game beef? do you always write your own lyrics or do you have ghostwriters ?

"The Red Tape" i think thats what its called, was Quik's neighborhood record before he got signed... i remember in interviews he said he would shout out different hoods because he knew they would buy the tape... only og LA heads from the early 90s would have this tape, so maybe he could hook it up  peace
