this song from dre, i saw an ad on tele tha otha day about sum album with oldiez on it and one of the songs had exactly the same beat as dre's xxplosive, what was the sample song for this cos the beat has been virtually unchanged?

Erika Badu had a song off of her last album "Mama's Gun" that just stole the "Xxplosive" beat.

stole? if that's how u feel then dre 'stole' the beat off a very old song...the song i am talkin about aint no recent shit...it is sum pop classic or sum shit...

the song it samples/interpolates is called 'bumpys lament' by isaac hayes

Yup yup, she did indeed use Dre's "Xxplosive" beat. I actually have the song, it's called "Bag Lady" & it's a pretty dope interpolation.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Surely if the beat she used, or should I say interperated, for "Bag Lady" wasn't originally by Dre she wouldn't of credited him & would of credited the original musician/producer/preformer. But is this song the actual song 4 KiN L is talking about anyways ???
