Great episode. Loved to see Penny/Desmond named their child after Charlie; nice touch lol. I'm worried Des fucked up. Widmore so had him followed back to his ship OR knows he's heading to LA to locate Faraday's mother and is going to track them down there.

truly amazing episode. that widmore thing had me tripping out..and locke telling Richard when/where he was born, it explains why he was there and that test he gave him a few years later. and yeah, its cool that they named their child after charlie..but its also the same name as pennys father.
i found it interesting that none of the oceanic 6 appeared in this one.

it sure was. ya, i didnt see the Widmore thing coming at all. Yea, that did explain the tests several years later (or before? lol), fantastic. True its same name as Penny's father, but they hate him lol. I'd guess the true inspiration for the name came from the Oceanic Charlie.
Good point on the Oceanic 6 not appearing, didn't even realize that since the episode was so damn good lol.
The Watcher:
it was a good to have an episode without jack and kate, definitely need more of those. locke giving alpert the compass kicks off that whole series of events (alpert visiting locke @ his birth, the test, etc..)
in one of the podcasts the producers said ms hawking is related to one of the freighters, i'm gonna go with faraday
