so the hatch lid that was on the ground outside teh hatch was blown high and far enough away to land in the beach camp.. but no one inside (locke/desmond/ecko) was hurt..
btw.. doesnt this leave the 'beach' party rather lacking in leading characters... though of course sayid+jinn etc will be back there soon

season 3 is mainly gonna be based at the 'others' camp.. that's been known for a while now .. hence why their 3 main characters have been captured
also, some of season 3 is gonna be based in their 'underwater hatch'

i presume desmond, ecko & john are dead.
but the thing i can't figure out is why desmond didn't say/know from the start that it is real.
all the shit flying around and all that, and he thought nothing of it?
