that is a very good theory. i could definitely see how that would be a possibility. that damn smoke creature is the most mysterious thing on that show. i'm sure that it's true purpose/nature will only be revealed at the end of the series.

The producers have basically said that it will appear again before the end of this season, and that you'll get some better insight into exactly what it is. But they added that how it 'works' and how it fits into the bigger picture of what is happening on the island won't be revealed until at least season four... Bastards.

yeah, this was one of those push over episodes where the main stars of the show got to chill at their 5 star hotel in honolulu for the week. bastards ;D
