Who watches this show? It's easily on of my all time favorites, every season has been raw as hell and a pretty good reflection of the fading American city. If u listen to hip hop anf have HBO, I recomend u start watchin this shit right away.

We don't have The Wire here in Belgium, but since I read some pretty good reviews about it I decided to buy the DVD box from a guy on eBay.
I'm watching it for the 2nd time now actually. I like how they show both sides of the drug world, because in most soaps, it's either the point-of-view from the drug dealers or law enforcement. Usually not both...

I want Season 2 by Christmas.

yup. prob my favorite show right now, and in a long time in terms of like drama.

the Omar character is just great. the way they mesh the two lifestyles he leads. its like pretty "revolutionary" in television.

i got season one and season two on dvd. great purchases. anyone know when season 3 is coming out on dvd?

if you guys like The Wire, check out a series called "The Corner" it was a six episode miniseries released on HBO a few years back, and it was made by the same producers/writers of The Wire. you'll see many of the same identical actors in the corner as you see in the wire, except they play opposite roles haha. the cops u see the wire played drug addicts in the corner, so its pretty funny.
