the jaguar wright is hot.  i like it better than her first album.  "ecstasy" is a heater.  "one more drink" is incredible.  cats around here that like that west coast funk sound would really appreciate alot of the tracks on here.  it's not that pristine g-funk sound, but a more mellow warm, "soulful" sound.  hot stuff.  if i had one complaint, it's that her vocals are overpowered by the music on some tracks.  the music is hot, the beats are hot, but jaguar has a strong voice that could have been showcased a little better.  overall it's a hot album, consistent quality throughout.

I just have a lot of extra spending money right now and they are a lot of albums that I need to add to the collection. Basically whenever I go check out new releases I look around for albums that I feel are essential to my collection, or albums that get a lot of praise that I don't have. I'll be going to pick up a few new releases this Tuesday, so you can expect another 10 album list that afternoon.
