I don't think Sven will ever change from a four at the back.

Beckham is a good player of course, but again tonight, by having a pacey winger like SWP holding down that flank he caused problems. Okay, he doesn't have the range of passing of Beckham, but he can unsettle any left-back in the world with his quick feet, and electric acceleration.

At the end of the day, if England want to reach the Semi-Final's or more in the World Cup, then they have to play the best team, and not always the best 11 players.

England will have alot more going forward when Ashley Cole and Gary Neville return, as Carragher and Young offered little in the opponents half.

otherwise i think he'll be a swap out.. kinda like gerrard/joe cole

actually i think joe cole/rooney linked up well as they are both creative.. but more importantly have their wits about them... gerrard gives us stability and joe cole gives us a little edge
